Ready Set Paid

Help for beginners

How to use this payment workspace

Plain language. No jargon. Follow the steps below if you have never set up an online checkout before.

What Ready Set Paid does

Think of it as a small shop counter inside WordPress. You list what you sell, give customers a payment link, and the system keeps a tidy record of who paid — plus receipts and optional email marketing sync.

Start here — step by step

  1. 1. Make an account

Click Account → Create a free seller account. Use your name, email, and a password. After you register, sign in to open your private dashboard.

  2. 2. Connect how you get paid

Open Payments in the sidebar. Paste your Stripe keys (publishable, secret, and webhook). You can also connect PayPal for one-time products. Tip: start in Test mode while you practice.

  3. 3. Create something to sell

Use Products for a one-time purchase, or Subscriptions for a monthly plan. Add a clear name, price, and optional access link so buyers know where to go after paying.

  4. 4. Share your checkout

Copy the checkout link, or click Embed code to place a Buy / Subscribe button on your website. Your customer only needs that link or button.

  5. 5. Watch sales come in

When someone pays, you get an order, a customer record, and an invoice. Their email can also appear under Leads and sync to Systeme.io or AWeber if you connected Auto Responder.

Common questions

What is this site for?

Ready Set Paid helps sellers take payments online. You create a product or monthly plan, share a link, and customers pay with Stripe. Sales, customers, invoices, and leads stay in your own login.

Do I need to know coding?

No. You fill in forms, copy a link, and paste payment keys from Stripe. Embedding a button is optional — the checkout link alone is enough.

Where do my customers pay?

On a hosted checkout page. They type their name and email, then Stripe (or PayPal) handles the card. After payment they see a success message and can continue to your access page.

What is the difference between Products and Subscriptions?

Products are paid once. Subscriptions charge every month until canceled. Both give you a shareable link.

What are Leads?

When someone enters their email on checkout, we save that contact as a lead. If Auto Responder is on, we also send them to Systeme.io or AWeber.

Money goes where?

Straight to your Stripe or PayPal account. This site never holds the customer’s card details.
